Mike Shippey

President, CLEC Operation

Mike Shippey serves as President, CLEC Operation, and is responsible for the successful deployment and management of YCC’s local, long distance and data network and operations.

Mr. Shippey has more than 12 years of telecommunications and sales experience, with increasing levels of executive responsibility. Prior to joining YCC, he was most recently Executive Vice President, Operations and Carrier Services of Covista Communications. He has also worked for Excel Communications and Telco Communications Group.
Mr. Shippey has a B.S. degree in Finance from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Va

Mark Pavol

President of Direct Connect Communications (Consultant)

Mr. Pavol has well over 15 years of financial and operational experience with emphasis in business development. His most recent position was Secretary and Treasurer for X2comm, Inc. This is a company he started in 2000 and has grown into a regional IXC. Prior to that he was the Assistant Controller for Talk.com. His duties included all company public filings and setting up internal controls. He was responsible for all of the company’s accounting functions and contract negotiations. Prior to joining Talk.com, Inc., Mr. Pavol was Regional Accounting Director for HC Copeland, based in New Brunswick New Jersey where he was responsible for system accuracy and internal reporting.
